Pumpkin Spice Chalk: My role in this chalk sign was to design an eye catching and hand illustrated chalk sign to promote the bakery and coffee department's pumpkin spice latte. This particular sign was featured on Whole Foods Market Tacoma's Instagram account and was very well received store wide. My goal with this chalk was to reflect a fall and seasonal theme. This was probably one of my favorite chalk pieces that I have designed during my time at Whole Foods. All elements in this sign were hand painted and drawn using acrylic chalk markers.

Pumpkin Bundt Cake chalk: This project was commissioned by the bakery department to promote the pumpkin bundt cake. My goal with this project was to keep the text clean and interesting as well as create an eye catching painted graphic.

Orchid Sale Chalk: This chalk was commissioned by the produce/floral department. The main goal of this chalk was to draw attention to the orchid sale that only happens twice a year at the floral department. My role in this chalk was to go as big and bold and attention grabbing as possible. The sale only lasted two weeks so the goal was to draw as much attention as possible to the orchid display during that time.

Gluten Free Chalk: My role in this chalk sign was to create a simple chalk sign that could stay up all year round and label where the gluten free products in the bakery department were. I chose a more simplistic approach with this sign choosing to highlight the typography instead of using illustrations in this chalk.

Peach Crisps Chalk: This chalk was commissioned by the produce department to promote the "Peak Pick" program highlighting the best produce pick of the season. My goal with this project was to incorporate all of the necessary logos in the chalk as well as create an artistic and eye catching illustration to draw more attention to the peach display.

August Hanging chalk calendar: Every month the chalk calendar must be switched out and re-drawn with the current up to date events going on in the store. This was a very fun project that I enjoyed designing. I wanted customers to look at the calendar and think "summer" which is why I chose to add a beach illustration as well as add the sun flower illustration at the top. The goal of this project was to grab customers attention as much as possible.
